Phu Khieo Wildlife Sanctuary is in 3 districts, there are Phu Khieo District, Kon San District, and Kaset Sombun District. Also, it is one part of west east forest combining 3 wildlife sanctuaries and 4 national parks. They are Pa Pha Pueng, Pa Taboh - Huai Yai, Pa Phu Pha Daeng wildlife sanctuaries, Phu Pha Man, Phu Kradung, Nam Nao, and Tat Mok national parks. It aims to wildlife conservation, feeding, and breeding such as Siamese Fireback pheasants, peacocks, barking deer, and gazelles. These animals are living naturally and able to breeding by themselves. Besides, there is the route of nature study for tourists whom are interested to learn about nature closely. Phu Khieo Wildlife Sanctuary is considered a “nature study site” such as bird and butterfly watching, or hiking.
